Senior Platform Engineer

About the Role

ClaimOS is the verification layer between AI models and insurance claims decisions. You'll build the core platform: the orchestration engine that coordinates multi-model adjudication, the policy encoding layer that maps insurer-specific rules into executable logic, and the audit infrastructure that makes every decision provable.

What You'll Build

• Orchestration engine that routes claims through multi-model consensus pipelines
• Policy encoding layer that maps benefit schedules, exclusion lists, and adjudication rules per tenant
• Immutable, tamper-evident audit trail (GDPR-compliant, regulator-ready)
• Tenant isolation and per-insurer workflow configuration
• Confidence-gated escalation routing to human review queues
• APIs that integrate with insurer claims management systems

Requirements

• Technical:

  • Strong Java/Kotlin experience
  • Database design with NoSQL or SQL persistence
  • Microservices architecture and API design
  • Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms
  • Familiarity with event sourcing or immutable data patterns (preferred)

• Experience:

  • 5+ years backend engineering in production systems
  • Track record of building systems that handle compliance or regulatory requirements
  • Insurance or financial services domain experience (advantageous)
